Show: Hijinxshow06_pt2 - March 30, 2006

Dunn-Luoma began playing hockey at age 6 and was in a boys league until she was 16. She then switched to girls-only competition, playing two seasons for the Chelmsford Lions, a club team in Massachusetts. She had to travel an average of one hour each way for games and about 45 minutes for practice. Many of the team's practices were on Saturday night, and some players would not attend for fear it would cut into their social lives. Not Dunn-Luoma, though -- she says she never missed a practice.

On May 28, 2005, Tricia Dunn married Todd Luoma and has competed since with the hyphenated surname. She has been known to travel with a stuffed bear named Felix. Off the ice, she enjoys outdoor activities, such as weightlifting, golf, tennis and shopping. She is a fan of country music and her favorite NHL team is the Boston Bruins.
