Richard has been involved in the SCA since 1996 and very active since graduating from college with a BS in Computer Engineering in 2001. Richard's entire time in the SCA has been living in the Barony of Roaring Wastes in the Pentamere (metro Detroit, MI) region of the Midrealm. Initially Richard was part of the Ironwolf Household until 2003, when several of us split off from Ironwolf and formed the Company of Outremer. Participating as an Unbelted Champion since about 1999, Pennsic 28, Richard's first participation as an Unbelted Champion was in 2000 (Pennsic 30) and for Pennsic 34, he commanded the Unbelted Champions team to a successfull video against the East. In 2005-2006 winter reign, Richard has served as the King's Champion. Since 1999 Richard has been squired to Sir Bran Cuileann mac Muirchu ui Niall. Awards recieved: Award of Arms, Order of the Red Company, Order of the Gold Mace, Order of the Dragon's Tooth (x2)
