Q & A with Vincent from The Patronarchy
When did you start podcasting?
I started podcasting a few years ago, but my current show, The Patronarchy, I only started last year.
What made you think about starting a podcast?
For me, entertaining people has always been on my mind, even when I was very young. Whether it’s telling a joke or telling a fun or exciting story, I really love it.
What’s the name of your show and what is it about?
The name of my show is The Patronarchy and it’s about stories of the rudest, weirdest, and meanest customers people have had to deal with. I have a different guest every time to give the audience their tales of the worst customers.
What’s your podcast set-up?
I use Filmora for editing, OBS for audio recording, a Sony ZV1 for video, Mountdog key light, Blue Yeti mics, and Apple Keynote for thumbnails (with some help from Adobe Express).
How have you promoted your podcast?
I have promoted The Patronarchy via social media: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook & TikTok. I usually post links to full episodes and short clips from various episodes to draw attention to the full episodes.
What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?
In the beginning, I wish I had known just how important it is to test your mics properly and how to avoid audio reverb.
Vincent Didiano has always loved entertaining others. And then, he came up with the concept of The Patronarchy, where he invites a new guest every week to tell the audience their tales of the worst customers ever — the meanest, the weirdest, the rudest, and more. Now that’s gotta be super funny. Give it a listen on Spotify today!
Vincent has been podcasting for a few years, but his current podcast, The Patronarchy is his baby. Combining his love for making people laugh with the sheer audacity of the retail customer, it takes a look inside the nightmare everyone lives serving customers.
