Q & A with Cassie & Ginny from Manifest It Now!
When did you start podcasting?
I (Cassie) started my first podcast in 2009, which I did for a little less than a year.
Then I started another show with a friend in 2013 and it fizzled out.
Both of my current shows, Manifest It Now! and Manifesting Success Stories I started in 2015.
Ginny and I joined forces on Manifest It Now! in September 2015. It was Ginny’s first ever podcasting experience.
Why did you start podcasting?
I started podcasting because I landed an interview on a radio show and loved it.
This was in 2009 and as I went searching for ways to get on radio shows, I found out you could host your own podcast. So, I did.
Even though I only hosted my first show for about a year, podcasting continued to call me. That is why I started a few other shows here and there. There is something magical about being able to speak to people and help them out.
I started Manifesting Success Stories prior to Manifest It Now! because I wanted to share the knowledge I’d gained and create a place where people could get to know me before hiring me.
I loved my solo show, which turned into an interview show, but longed to do a show with a girlfriend.
Ginny started podcasting because I asked her to do Manifest It Now. She said yes!
What’s the name of your show and what is it about?
Our show is Manifest It Now!
It’s about how the two of us leverage the practical application of the law of attraction to live our dream lives, with the intention of teaching and inspiring others to do the same.
It’s two girlfriends talking about how they create their amazing life in a coffee shop vibe.
We share real life stories of our growth and successes as well as things we have had to grow through.
After more than 300 weekly shows, we have switched to two thirteen-episode seasons a year. Our show still shares our journey, and we have added a more structured teaching format.

How have you promoted your podcast?
Westarted hosting our show on a network, so there was some promotion to that audience.
We quickly became the third ranked show.
The number one and two shows had been around for more than five years.
About a year, we decided to leave the network.
In essence that meant starting over because of the way the network set up the shows.
We have never been focused on promoting the show. For the most part, we let the show do the work. We believe in our content and that people will find it.
So far that has worked. Manifest It Now is in the top 0.5% on ListenNotes.com
In the last six months, we hired a podcast booking service to book us onto other podcasts.
We had always done podcasts when others reached out, but this was the first time we consciously promoted the show this way.
What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?
Trust your choices because it’s going to work out. We trusted ours.
Cassie’s idea was to do a shorter thirty minute show because she felt that would be better for our intended audience.
After our rise to success on the network, the head of the network told us she never thought our show would work or be popular because it was shorter and not an interview format.
Needless to say, we have done the show the way we wanted from the beginning and it’s worked out spectacularly.
For us, it’s always been about fun and sharing our journey.
If you have a vision for a show, it means there are listeners out there waiting to hear it.
Our advice? Don’t listen to people who don’t share your vision.
