Q & A with Sarah from The Peaceful Parenting Podcast

When did you start podcasting?

I started podcasting in June 2021.

What made you think about starting a podcast?

I love podcasts!! I have been a fan of podcasts for a decade.

“Maybe someday,” was a phrase that always ran through my mind. But I was nervous about putting myself out there. What if it’s not any good or no one listens?

I have been lucky enough to have a hit out of the gate and have been ranking in the charts since we launched.

The tech aspect was so intimidating and overwhelming and I always felt too busy to add something else to my plate.

I got around both of those reservations by hiring a podcast manager. I also started it as a way to reach new people.

What’s the name of your show and what is it about?

I’m a parent coach. My podcast is called The Peaceful Parenting Podcast.

I have 3 types of shows: a guest expert interview with industry leaders, solo shows with only me and a topic (for example, getting kids to do chores) and coaching episodes where I do a coaching call with parents and then a follow up a few weeks later (in one episode).

What’s your podcast set up?

I use a Blue Yeti mic, GarageBand for solo shows and Zencastr for the other shows. My podcast manager, Simona Costantini, could tell you the other stuff!

How have you promoted your podcast?

I have promoted my podcast through my email list and my social media channels like Facebook and Instagram and I also hope that guests will share their episodes.

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?

I wish I hadn’t waited so long to start!

Sarah Rosensweet helps listeners learn a more peaceful parenting style through by sharing guest interviews, real-time parental coaching and taking deep dives into parenting tactics. If you are interested in a different approach to parenting The Peaceful Parenting Podcast is a must listen on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

Sarah really wanted to share the knowledge she had gathered about parenting.  Having 3 big kids of her own.  She figured out how to enjoy her kids again knowing that the time she had with them was fleeting. Podcasting was a great medium for her to spread her message and give Moms & Dads who are struggling a different way to approach parenting.  Have you always wanted to start a podcast about something you know you can do but don’t know how?
