Q & A with Sarah from The Peaceful Parenting Podcast<\/span><\/h2>

When did you start podcasting?<\/b><\/h3>

I started podcasting in June 2021.<\/span><\/p>

What made you think about <\/b>starting a podcast<\/b>?<\/b><\/h3>

I love podcasts!! I have been a fan of podcasts for a decade.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

“Maybe someday,” was a phrase that always ran through my mind. But I was nervous about putting myself out there. What if it’s not any good or no one listens?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

I have been lucky enough to have a hit out of the gate and have been ranking in the charts since we launched. <\/span><\/p>

The tech aspect was so intimidating and overwhelming and I always felt too busy to add something else to my plate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

I got around both of those reservations by hiring a <\/span>podcast manager.<\/span> I also started it as a way to reach new people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

What’s the name of your show and what is it about?<\/b><\/h3>

I’m a <\/span>parent coach<\/span>. My podcast is called The Peaceful Parenting Podcast. <\/span><\/p>

I have 3 types of shows: a guest <\/span>expert interview<\/span> with industry leaders, solo shows with only me and a topic (for example, getting kids to do chores) and coaching episodes where I do a <\/span>coaching call <\/span>with parents and then a follow up a few weeks later (in one episode).<\/span><\/p>

What’s your <\/b>podcast set up<\/b>?<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>

I use a Blue Yeti mic, GarageBand for solo shows and Zencastr for the other shows. My podcast manager, Simona Costantini, could tell you the other stuff!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

How have you promoted your podcast?<\/b><\/h3>

I have promoted my podcast through my email list and my social media channels like <\/span>Facebook<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Instagram<\/span><\/a> and I also hope that guests will share their episodes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?<\/b><\/h3>

I wish I hadn’t waited so long to start!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Sarah really wanted to share the knowledge she had gathered about parenting.\u00a0 Having 3 big kids of her own.\u00a0 She figured out how to enjoy her kids again knowing that the time she had with them was fleeting.
