When did you start podcasting?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I just launched My First Kiss in late July. So I started my podcasting journey this summer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What made you think about starting a podcast?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I am a storyteller. Everyone would always tell me that I\u2019m super random, charismatic, and most of all \u2026 a storyteller! <\/span><\/p>\n

For the past seven years, I\u2019ve been into videography and audio production, and it has grown into a passion. Why not turn it into a show of some sort? <\/span><\/p>\n

I dabbled with the idea of having a YouTube channel (which I plan to start as well) and starting a podcast. <\/span><\/p>\n

A<\/span>fter months of having a vision, planning, and self-doubt, I just went for it!<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the name of your show and what is it about?<\/b><\/h3>\n

My podcast is called \u201cMy First Kiss.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

My show features fun, hilarious, deep, and scandalous stories about dating, love life, work, and life. <\/span><\/p>\n

Think of it as a conversation with your friends over wine, or a diary. Hence the name \u201cMy First Kiss.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

I also can\u2019t wait to have guests on my show to share their craziest stories! <\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s your podcast setup?\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

My current setup consists of 3 MOANO PM320S Studio Condenser XLR Microphones, which were pretty cheap for the great quality \u2014 60.99 on Amazon. <\/span><\/p>\n

I use a MaonoCaster LITE audio interface. <\/span><\/p>\n

It was 112.00 on Amazon and pretty good for a starter audio interface. <\/span><\/p>\n

Then, I also have an assortment of studio lights, which were about $40 on Amazon. <\/span><\/p>\n

The camera I use is my first camera, one that I\u2019ve had for years (Canon Rebel t6i). <\/span><\/p>\n

For editing software, I use Adobe Audition. I\u2019ve been using Audition for a couple of years now and I love it!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How have you promoted your podcast?<\/b><\/h3>\n

To promote my podcast, I\u2019ve been on social media (<\/span>TikTok<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Facebook<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Instagram<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Twitter<\/span><\/a>). <\/span><\/p>\n

I am in a number of Facebook groups that allow for podcast promotion on certain days and that has certainly helped. <\/span><\/p>\n

I follow a lot of other podcasts on Instagram and it allows me to form connections and network, which is AWESOME!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?<\/b><\/h3>\n

How supportive and helpful the podcast community is. <\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone has been so kind and nothing short of encouraging. <\/span><\/p>\n

It really helps and goes a long way!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
