Q & A with Matt & Todd from The Primal Scream Podcast<\/h2>\n

When did you start podcasting<\/h3>\n

We are Matt and Todd and we host the Primal Scream Podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve only been doing the podcast for about 10 months and it has only grown due to word of mouth, since we haven\u2019t done any promoting.<\/p>\n

Why did you start podcasting?<\/h3>\n

This all started when Matt and I decided to start recording the everyday conversations we have always had. Labor Day 2013 was our first podcast to celebrate what Labor Day means to us.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s since taken on a life of it\u2019s own as we\u2019ve given over to our creative sides to having on local artists, authors, athletes, and small business owners to give back to our community.<\/p>\n

What is your show about?<\/h3>\n

We like to say our show is a hang out.<\/p>\n

We talk about current events, issues in everyday life, family, or whatever strikes us.<\/p>\n

We like to take our guests and listeners down that rabbit hole with us by focusing on revitalizing our world view into something more positive than\u00a0through the main stream medias hype and fear.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your podcasting set-up? Hardware, software, CMS, etc.<\/h3>\n

We use dynamic microphones, connected to a eight input Yamaha mixer, which records on a Roland recording device.<\/p>\n

We also us GoPro cameras to record our video and we use Adobe Premiere Pro to sync up to the audio and video to show them on our YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

What do you know now that wish you knew when you started?<\/h3>\n

The one thing I wish I knew at the beginning of this project, is that if you never ask, the answer is never no.<\/p>\n

This holds true to guests and sponsors.<\/p>\n

We really think of this podcast as a way for our children and our children\u2019s children to have a record of who we were, what our world was like, and our opinions of it.<\/p>\n
