Q & A with Troy from The Forever Fan Podcast<\/h2>\n

When did you start podcasting?<\/h3>\n

I started in 2005 with such famous podcasts as \u2018The Crossword\u00a0Enthusiast\u00a0podcast\u2019 and \u2018$10 a week\u2019. After several months with only 5s of listeners both of these podcasts have podfaded. Della started podcasting in 2013 producing a show with her close friend titled, \u2018What is with the drama!\u2019<\/p>\n

Why did you start podcasting?<\/h3>\n

While we started at different times and with definitely different types of shows, we both started out for the same reason -Podcasting is Fun!.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your show about?<\/h3>\n

One of the best TV shows on right now is ABC\u2019s \u2018Forever\u2019. We are building a community to Share Forever Together and extend our enjoyment of the shoe beyond just one hour a week. That’s what The Forever Fan Podcast<\/a> is all about!<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your podcasting set-up? Hardware, software, CMS, etc.<\/h3>\n

We use a YamahaMG102c Mixer to bring our audio-technica\u00a0microphones, iPads and iPhones\u00a0 into a PylePro PPR80 digital recorder. We edit in Audacity and then upload the file to Rockin\u2019 Libsyn.<\/p>\n

How have you promoted your podcast?<\/h3>\n

We have done the usual things everyone recommends. Get listed in all the directories and all the boring things, but the most fun we have had is getting connected via facebook and twitter with other Foreverists (fans of the show).<\/p>\n

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?<\/h3>\n

Checking the stats is a real time suck! I should have been spending that time at the beginning on show prep and promotion!<\/p>\n
