Why did you start podcasting?<\/h3>\n

Podcasting is an extension of blogging and gives one the ability to engage readers without them even being on the site. It also gives a more personal interaction with the readership.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s face it, we live in an age now where podcasting is pretty much a must if you are a leader in your field.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your show about?<\/h3>\n

The Terrible Podcast<\/a> is about The Pittsburgh Steelers.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your podcasting set-up? Hardware, software, CMS, etc.<\/h3>\n

Right now we still use Skype and record with Call Graph. My co-host lives in Pittsburgh while I live in Florida. We hope to use better hardware and software in season 4.<\/p>\n

How have you promoted your podcast?<\/h3>\n

Twitter, Facebook, iTunes and of course on the site in a dedicated post.<\/p>\n

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?<\/h3>\n

Hosting the episodes on my own site really dragged down my server. Using a service such as Libsyn is a must and I wish I would have used it a long time ago.<\/p>\n

Are you interested in the Pittsburgh Steelers? Then you really do need to subscribe to this podcast<\/a>! These guys are committed and are steadily refining their game. You\u2019ll get two episodes a week during offseason and get ready for three episodes per week once the season begins!<\/em><\/p>\n
