And goodness gracious what a year this has been!<\/p>\n
This year appears to have been the biggest<\/em> year for podcasting\u2026YET, at least according to mainstream media. < wink wink ><\/p>\n But seriously, it has been an amazing year for podcasting and the Libsyn Team is beyond proud to continue to be part of it!<\/p>\n We hit insane download numbers.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve partnered with some awesome distribution networks.<\/p>\n The president was on a podcast and the Libsyn platform took it like a champ.<\/p>\n We released a gorgeous<\/em> new player.<\/p>\n And that\u2019s just the beginning.<\/p>\n Check out the play by play of some of our most awesome highlights of the year!<\/p>\n The Libsyn Network experienced accelerated growth from 1.9 billion in 2013 to 2.6 billion in 2014. Woah.<\/p>\n This new milestone marks nearly 8 million daily audience requests for podcasts during the fourth quarter of 2014.<\/p>\n Amazing stuff no? That\u2019s what we call growth!<\/p>\n The Libsyn Team got a chance to attend NMX\/ NAB.<\/p>\n There were 5 of us there, and we had a great time chatting with all of you podcasters.<\/p>\n Krystal had a chance to do a Libsyn Live LIVE<\/a> from the show floor! Yes!<\/p>\n And Rob and I got time taking the stage with a couple a great presentations<\/p>\n We are so thrilled to have been able to partner with the NEW Spotify! It\u2019s so exciting to have another place where people can be exposed to podcasts.<\/p>\n Big high five to Spotify for starting the ball running and putting podcasting right in the mix!<\/p>\n Get the scoop on the Spotify Announcement on this special episode of The Feed<\/a>.<\/p>\n Who would have ever thought that the President Of The United States<\/em> would be on a podcast<\/a>?<\/p>\n I\u2019m sure that was not on any prediction lists for 2015.<\/p>\n We knew that the POTUS interview would get some serious download action<\/strong><\/em>, especially during that first day and Libsyn was able to deliver the content seamlessly.<\/p>\n Not exactly the most thrilling information but for those of us that wanted this – pure coolness. We had such a great time announcing it \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n This makes it even easier for you to use WordPress and all it\u2019s plethora of features, while easily adding a podcasting player plug-in that works with your hosting!<\/p>\n Here are full tutorials on how to use the plug-in<\/a>, both to configure and to publish!<\/p>\n Please NOTE: It is still in beta!<\/p>\n It was grand.<\/p>\n One of the best podcasting conferences this year by far<\/em>.<\/p>\n Will we see you there next year? Oh wow. If you haven’t done it already here’s a super stellar article<\/a> telling you exactly how!<\/p>\n Have you seen any pigs flying lately? I think that I saw some. Truly.<\/p>\n It is the first 100% collaborative podcast, each episode is created by a podcaster.
