This series is all about showcasing Libsyn podcasters. Its sole purpose is to introduce these awesome podcasts to the world as well as share their podcasting insight to empower the community!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I wanted to do a tech podcast so bad it hurt back in 2011 and thought it was the simplest thing in the world to simply bust out my laptop and record my random thoughts through the computers mic.<\/p>\n I believe it\u2019s still on iTunes, a podcast called \u201cbattery operated\u201d which stands today as the worst audio recording I have every heard in a podcast. It\u2019s so brilliantly bad I can\u2019t stand it!<\/p>\n I like getting my thoughts out to an audience, feeling like I can be heard, make a difference in some small way.<\/p>\n I heard you can make money with them true. My accountant tells me at the pace I\u2019m going I\u2019ll be dead before I make a penny! It\u2019s not about money though, I truly enjoy the experience.<\/p>\n It\u2019s an unbelievably short 2\u20135 minute almost<\/em> daily podcast.<\/p>\n The title kind of gives it away \u201cDonald Trump is a Moron\u201d but only a little bit.<\/p>\n The show is about the US becoming angrier and more racist\/sexist than ever.<\/p>\n It\u2019s more about People who THINK like Donald Trump and the terrifying consequences of a nation that follows in those particular footsteps.<\/p>\n I am lucky enough to be able to afford a halfway decent setup.<\/p>\n I run the new 27\u201d iMac with Adobe Audition carrying the editing load. Audio Hijack let\u2019s me \u201cborrow\u201d brief audio clips from a bunch of sources and, believe it or not, any music put into these podcasts are done on my iPad Pro in garage band.<\/p>\n I use Apple loops to avoid any copywrite issues. I run a Sterling audio ST51 condenser mic through an Allen & Heath soundboard (I like physical hardware for some things) into the computer via USB.<\/p>\n I\u2019m currently working hard to promote my podcast(s) in all of the most difficult ways imaginable! Mostly Facebook, twitter and telling everyone I know to listen!<\/p>\n I\u2019m looking through your archives now for more advice on that topic!<\/p>\n Stay away from Adobe. It\u2019s AMAZING but the monthly fee will kill you.<\/p>\n I use it right now because it\u2019s what I know, but I\u2019m considering a switch to Logic Pro or Pro Tools very soon.<\/p>\n Also, the equipment is secondary. When people recommend the Audio Technica ATR 2100 they mean business.<\/p>\n I have 2 of them and if my Sterling broke I wouldn\u2019t even think of buying another one. Who doesn\u2019t want a super short podcast about Donald Trump(ish) people? You don\u2019t even have to think about it and you\u2019d have already consumed the podcast!<\/em><\/p>\n Give it go and subscribe<\/a> today!<\/em><\/p>\n

\nLong story short, monthly fee\u2019s and expensive setups can easily wear down on your finances, buy the minimum QUALITY items you need and build on it.<\/p>\n
