This series is all about Libsyn\u2019s podcasters. It\u2019s sole purpose is to introduce these awesome podcasts to the world as well as share their podcasting insight to empower the community!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A month ago.<\/p>\n I had an idea.<\/p>\n I started a new Consulting Company that provides temp workforce strategy to companies to help them better leverage their temporary labor.<\/p>\n I have been an executive most of my life. I am also a certified Reiki Master and I wanted a way to incorporate that part of myself into my business without being too \u201cwoo woo\u201d and scaring people.<\/p>\n So I decided to set up a Podcast Series as my \u201ccoming out party\u201d and made it a \u201csubsidiary\u201d of my current company. I wanted to put it out there and test the reaction to this idea.<\/p>\n By the way, this went against advice from some of my very successful mentors who said I would \u201cconfuse my brand\u201d and people would not take me seriously if I \u201cput that hippie crap out there\u201d (yes, direct quote, he\u2019s no longer a mentor)<\/p>\n The aha moment was I provide workforce strategy solutions and workforce is made up of people and healers like myself are all about helping people be their best self.<\/p>\n And that was the \u201clink\u201d where I could interview healers on my show that bring holistic solutions to Corp. America. Because Corp. America needs it. And change comes from the top.<\/p>\n Holistic Solutions For Workforce, Well Being and Health<\/a> is a subsidiary series of the Gallagher and Consultants Company.<\/p>\n I am the host and also the founder and President of Gallagher and Consultants. I have seen firsthand the benefits of using a holistic approach in my career as an executive and entrepreneur.<\/p>\n I have seen productivity go up, disputes resolved, teams work better together using some of the Reiki techniques I have learned.<\/p>\n The brainchild of this Podcast Series was how I can include this practice into my company in a way that resonated. When I suddenly realized that my company provides workforce solutions, and workforce is made up of people.<\/p>\n We believe people are the lifeblood of an organization, and keeping your people happy and healthy is key to productivity and growth as an organization. Not just in body, but mind and spirit.<\/p>\n This series was launched to introduce holistic methods to enable the optimal health and wellbeing of your workforce, from a mind\/body\/spirit approach.<\/p>\n We feature professionals from the holistic practitioner community that have had success working with enterprise organizations to help them empower, distress, and balance their organization and workforce.<\/p>\n Each month we will feature a different guest who will share their best practices and strategies for enabling an empowered, inspired, and balanced workforce.<\/p>\n I use a Yeti Blue Mic, Pamela Professional which records guests via Skype, and of course Libsyn to distribute and answer all my amateur questions and keep me sane during this process. See pic, not high tech but maybe this could inspire others?<\/p>\n Put on my website, via FB company page and sent iTunes links to my contacts. Also, interviewee\u2019s promoting though not heavily. The challenge with healers is they don\u2019t have a ton of business acumen and marketing savvy. So I need help!<\/p>\n Use the right recording settings!<\/p>\n My first podcast was a little fuzzy. I adjusted Pamela recording to highest MHZ Stereo or Mono settings to get rid of fuzziness.<\/p>\n And leave room for \u201cunscripted\u201d conversation but also have some structure to cover make it engaging and stay on point. I got good feedback around this from some people I know who podcast professionally, that it was \u201ctight\u201d because I had the right combo of script and free form dialog.<\/p>\n We are going after business audience and they have very short attention spans and you need to get them in the first 5 mins.<\/p>\n Got a workforce?
