When did you start podcasting?<\/h3>\n

March 2016<\/p>\n

Why did you start podcasting?<\/h3>\n

Been listening to podcasts for a couple of years, started voice over work after I made my own home studio.<\/p>\n

Told kids, Hey, we can do this! Let\u2019s do a DnD game that we role play and act out for an enjoyable audio drama.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your show about?<\/h3>\n

A Quest For Magic and Steele<\/a> is a DnD role playing tabletop game. But heavy on character creation and story while light on actual gameplay rules.<\/p>\n

Story driven. Family friendly and family made.<\/p>\n

Steele empire is myself, dad along with daughters, son and a few friends.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your podcasting set-up? Hardware, software, CMS, etc.<\/h3>\n

Adobe audition, Audacity occasionally.<\/p>\n

Sound dampened Voice over studio is a Seinheisser Mk condenser mic through a focus rite Scarlette 2i2.<\/p>\n

Our main DnD show is done at table enclosed by sound blankets. A behringer 6 channel mixer. Basic unidirectional mics on boom stands with headphones for all.<\/p>\n

We use WordPress for our website to post podcasts and host through libsyn, of course \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

How have you promoted your podcast?<\/h3>\n

Here \ud83d\ude42 a couple interviews with other indie podcasts. Facebook page<\/a>. And mainly Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?<\/h3>\n

Who my target audience is. Although, I\u2019m still not exactly sure how to reach them.<\/p>\n
