This series is all about Libsyn\u2019s podcasters. Its sole purpose is to introduce these awesome podcasts to the world as well as share their podcasting insight to empower the community!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n June of 2018! I\u2019m a baby podcaster, and loving it. I feel right at home.<\/p>\n As a new Mom, 9 years ago, I was so alone. The only resources I had were three sleep books (everything was about the baby\u2019s sleep schedule) and my \u201cWhat to Expect\u201d book, which didn\u2019t prepare me at all.<\/p>\n I don\u2019t think any book could have.<\/p>\n So, I joined a baby group and\u00a0talking with other moms in the group not only saved my sanity, it gave me tools. The other moms knew stuff I didn\u2019t. And sometimes I knew stuff they didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n Furthermore, we\u00a0were open and honest about how hard it was, and that made me feel better, like less of a failure. Because I thought somehow that it was supposed to be easy and fluid.\u00a0Effortless.<\/p>\n The name of my show is MILF Podcast<\/a>. I interview Moms I\u2019d Like to Follow about their lives pre-baby, post-baby, and everything in between. We cover a lot of ground: pregnancy, childbirth, sex (before and after), parenting, self-care, self-reflection, self-reclamation, etc.<\/p>\n I use a Zoom H5 Handy Recorder, Samson Microphones and Headphones. It\u2019s a mobile set-up so that I can record either in my own studio\u00a0or on location.<\/p>\n Mostly social media and word of mouth.<\/p>\n How much FUN it is and that there\u2019s nothing to be afraid of.
