When did you start podcasting?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I started in late August, the official launch date was August 30, 2020, to honor my kidney donor.<\/p>\n

Why did you start podcasting?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I started my podcast to share my own stories of bravery as well as other women. I have dealt with kidney disease my entire life and have had a kidney transplant for 24 years now. Throughout my life, I have faced so many challenges because of my disease and often felt alone. With this podcast, I want to create a community of support and to let other women know that they are not alone. This is why it is super important to me to share our stories. Also, of course, I wanted to honor my kidney donor and let him know that his sacrifice and gift to me was not in vain.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the name of your show and what is it about?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

My podcast name is The Brave in Her podcast. It is about sharing my own stories as well as other women\u2019s who have had no other choice but to be brave.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your podcasting set-up? Hardware, software, CMS, etc.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I use my laptop (MacBook Pro), Garage band for solo and interviews, but also for interviews I use zoom.<\/p>\n

How have you promoted your podcast?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I have promoted my podcast on Instagram<\/a> and Facebook<\/a>, and different groups within and outside of FaceBook.<\/p>\n

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I know that my story matters and that it is okay to suck at the beginning, things get better with practice.<\/p>\n
