music podcasters host their media on Libsyn

When did you start podcasting?

Oct. 2011

Why did you start podcasting?

I was the host  of a community radio based underground/indie rock program in late ’99 –2001 and had been looking for the opportunity to get with a lower wattage station to start that show again. With the birth of podcasting seemed like a logical step.

What’s your show about?

Notes from the Underground, the self proclaimed “greatest underground and indie rock radio program in the universe”. New bands slightly to completely off the map mainstream, predominately rock based but incorporating some newer hip hop artists and some comedy bits for levity.

What’s your podcasting set-up? Hardware, software, CMS, etc.

Audacity, Sansom (my first podcast) mic.

How have you promoted your podcast?

Twitter, Facebook, being on 2 internet radio stations, and this thing here.

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?

Not everyone likes bands like The Fartz

You heard it here! It’s the greatest underground and indie rock radio program in the universe! So then, you must subscribe.

Guess what? You can also check out Notes from the Underground playing some killer music every Friday 9pm CST/10 pm EST on Radio Fubar and Saturday 1pm PST/4pm EST on ErrorFM.com’s ROCKZILLA.
