Q & A with Restauranttopia

When did you start podcasting?

We started in January of 2020 intending to help local independent restaurants.

Little did we know in just a short few months, the COVID–19 pandemic would crush the restaurant industry.

Every week we try to provide value to restaurant owners and staff to help them not only survive in a post-pandemic world but thrive.

Why did you start podcasting?

We started the podcast to help locally owned independent restaurants. These businesses build strong communities by linking neighbors in a web of economic and social relationships.

The more the independent restaurants are thriving, the healthier the community will be!

We want to help restaurant owners and operators hone their competitive edge through effective marketing and business practices.

What’s the name of your show and what is it about?

Restauranttopia focuses on all things related to restaurant management and operations from hosts David Ross, Brian Seitz, and chef Anthony Hamilton.

We feature interviews and restaurant success stories, along with insights on cost control, marketing, management and personnel issues.

Tune in for marketing ideas and tactics from restaurant business experts, gathered from lessons and data from restaurants around the US.

Brian Seitz, David Ross, and Anthony Hamilton each bring a fresh perspective on what it takes to be successful in the restaurant industry.

President of acquisitions, attorney, and entrepreneur Brian Seitz wears many hats, but his priority has always been to help promote local communities.

As the chief operating officer of Hillcrest Food Service, David Ross understands what it truly takes to successfully run a local, family-owned food distribution business and seeks to inspire others to reach the same success.

Chef instructor and restaurant consultant, Chef Anthony Hamilton has years of first-hand experience within the restaurant and hospitality industry and keen knowledge of culinary arts.

The one thing these three all have in common is their desire to endorse innovative ideas that add value to both their community and the people within it through food.

Described as informative yet entertaining, there is something everyone can take away from this podcast.

Whether you have a young, inexperienced entrepreneurial spirit or you are an expert restaurateur, the insights offered by Brian, David, and Anthony inspire all listeners to reach new levels of success.

David recently expressed tremendous gratitude for the opportunity to give back to an industry that has given him so much. He was quoted saying “The restaurant business has the greatest entrepreneurs and people!

Hopefully we can help someone achieve a goal, a higher standard, or even just give them a new perspective.”

At its core, a community revolves around the necessities for sustainable human life, arguably the most important of which is food. Behind every flourishing community, you will find a dynamic assortment of prosperous, locally owned, independent restaurants.

By talking with some of the most successful individuals from within the restaurant industry, Restauranttopia taps into inside knowledge that many entrepreneurs previously could have only aspired to obtain.
