On Monday, July 25, the Libsyn platform experienced a multi-hour service disruption.
To the community of creators around the world who depend on us for all of their hosting needs, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by yesterday’s disruption.
The service disruption was not a result of a malicious attack and there was no breach of customer data. The outage was triggered during database maintenance, and it required us to restore our primary database cluster.
Our entire development team has been working relentlessly to get everything back on track.
As a result, our Libsyn platform is now up and running and fully restored. More details can be found on our status page here.
Podcast stats are still catching up from the outage, but should be caught up soon.
We understand the tremendous impact that a service disruption can have – not only on our valued podcasters, but also their highly engaged listeners. As such, we’re doing everything we can to learn from this matter and use it to make our platform more resilient.
If you are still experiencing issues or have further questions, please email support@libsyn.com
Thank you for your patience.
We love having you as part of the Libsyn Community🙏🏽
